- Description
The ECA Female Performance Programme is designed for female cricketers who are serious about getting better and want greater depth, quality and time on task within their training.
The programme provides an in-depth approach to batting, bowling and fielding, exploring the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of performance. Sessions give players the time and individual attention to develop their skills in greater detail, while challenging them to better understand their own game and what is required to perform at a higher level.
The programme is structured across the winter to provide a clear progression in training. The pre-Christmas block focuses on skill acquisition and development, giving players the opportunity to develop, refine and expand their skills. As the programme progresses, the focus increasingly shifts towards skill execution, decision-making and game plans, helping players transfer their skills into competitive environments.
Players will work with experienced ECA coaches who have international and professional experience within the women’s game and understand both the demands of developing female cricketers and the skills required to progress towards higher levels of the game.
The programme is particularly suited to ambitious female cricketers who want more from their training, including players already involved in regional and national pathways and those aspiring to progress into them.
